He truly is a "gentle giant". He is very bonded to my husband and is almost dog-like in his devotion. He is respectful of Hermie and Chloe and seems to know when to quit clowning around with them. Every evening when Rick comes home, he greets him and races him to the "treat" jar. Since we have to keep Jordy in condition for the upcoming new show season, his treats are really just nuggets of Friskies Dental Diet. He loves them as much as if they were Kitty Caviar™ (another favored treat). Favorite Toys: Jordy loves for you to wiggle a hand or foot under the covers and let him pounce. He seems to know just how hard he can bite without inflicting pain. He also likes the whirly bird type of toy made from feathers on the end of a fishing pole. Anything bird-like seems to appeal to a Maine Coon. He also is quite content to watch the real ones feeding out in the yard. |
